REQUIEM

Below are the two final essays to be posted on Allegiance and Duty Betrayed. The first one is written by a friend -- screen name 'Euro-American Scum' -- who, over the past four years, has been the most faithful essayist here. He has written about everything from his pilgrimage to Normandy in 2004 to take part in the 60th–year commemoration of the invasion, to his memories of his tour in Vietnam. His dedication to America’s founding principles ... and those who have sacrificed to preserve them over the past 200+ years ... is unequaled. Thank you, E-A-S. It has been a privilege to include your writing here, and it is a privilege to call you my friend.

The second essay is my own farewell. And with it I thank all of the many regular visitors, and those who may have only dropped in occasionally, for coming here. I hope you learned something. I hope a seed or two was planted. But, even if not, I thank you for stopping by ... 25 March, 2010

Move Over, Sheriff Arpaio!

Sheriff Judd.jpg

As reported earlier this week, some dirtbag who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop in Florida ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range.. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed.

A statewide manhunt ensued. The low-life was found hiding in a wooded area with his gun. SWAT team officers fired and hit the guy 68 times. Now here's the kicker: Naturally, the media asked why they shot him 68 times.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, told the Orlando Sentinel, "That's all the bullets we had."

Rob,

I'm sure Johnny Sutton will show up at the funeral for the cop.

Between Arpaio and Judd, I think we found the perfect 2008 Republican ticket. {G}

Bravo, Sheriff Judd!

His men administered "swift justice," and he put the media in their place!

Why do I suddenly have the urge to see "Serpico" and "Death Wish" again? :-)

Good post, Rob.

Your "photo of the week" says it all about the Iraq war, Joanie.

Instead of the 68 bullets, the media would rather have the monster represented at trial at public expense, getting off on a technicality, or getting convicted, after which tons of Hollywood celebrities would take up his cause, while he's sitting on death row for 20 years, all at taxpayer expense.

I want him for MY sheriff!

Heck with sheriff. How about Secretary of Homeland Security or Defense !!!!

Joanie, do you remember at the March for Liberty in D.C. in 199? there was a cop from some midwest town who had a t-shirt on with a picture of a cop all handcuffed and shackled, and under it it said "Now go out and do your job!"

I know you talked to him for a while, I did too. Didn't he look a lot like this guy?

Three cheers for Sheriff Judd! And boos and hisses for the media he put in their place.

Would love to have a Sheriff Judd clone in our county.

Bravo! His SWAT team stood up to the cold-blooded murderer and he stood up to the media.

This sheriff is also setting his sights on pedophiles:

Sheriff Grady Judd sends strong message to On-line Pedophiles
"They made a Date with Deputies Instead of Children"

POLK COUNTY, Fla. -- In a six-week long investigation, that ended in a weekend undercover operation, Polk Sheriff’s detectives, posing as children on the Internet, arrested 21 adults, most who traveled into the county and intended to have sex with children. The undercover operation lead by the Polk Sheriff’s Office, included detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement or ICE.

It looks like the good sheriff is determined to lower these statistics:

LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER DEATHS ROSE SHARPLY DURING FIRST SIX MONTHS OF 2007

For first time since 1978, more than 100 officers killed during first half of year; Fatal shootings, traffic-related deaths both increase

Washington, DC — The number of law enforcement officers killed in the United States soared by 44 percent during the first six months of 2007, and for the first time in three decades, more than 100 officer deaths were recorded by the halfway point of the year, according to preliminary statistics from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) and Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS).

Good find, Rob.

Thanks Tom.

My question for Johhny Sutton:

WHY ARE YOPU WORKING TO DESTROY THE US ?

Anonymous said...

This officer takes the term "law and order" to heart. God bless him and make his philosophy spread to other law enforcement leaders.

Anonymous said...

The trouble is we have great law enforcement people like this sheriff who risk their lives doing their jobs, and then some idiot liberal judge with an agenda lets the criminal back on the street- although this is one criminal who won't terrorize society anymore.

Dave,

Funny you should mention that. I thought the same thing when I found his photo. But, according to the resumé that John Galt posted above, Judd has never served in law enforcement in the Midwest, so it must be just an amazing look-alike coincidence.

Smithy,

How many of these are due to illegal aliens?

FROM ANOTHER WEBSITE:

It’s hard for me, a seventy year old man, to fathom what is taking place here. I grew up during a time when the USA was the USA. We were United and put our trust in our elected officials. Now our elected officials can’t be trusted. Over the years we have been sold out by them especially on immigration issues. It sems to me that many of our own politicians put illegals and their so called rights in front of those of us who are citizens of this country....

The democrats want these people here for votes and the fact that they can be controled under the socialisic tendencies shown by their party...The Republicans want them here for cheap labor in order to fortify Big Business.

The only reason the Republicans ape starting to act is because WE THE PEOPLE got mad as hell and couldn’t take it any more...WE wrote and emailed our congressmen and women and let them know how we felt..Congress tried to sneak that amnesty bill through and we complained, however I don’t think it will do much good..
Hellary just might get in now, because a lot of people from my generation are talking about not voting anymore. They are just fed up with politicians of both parties...

The world could use more guys like this. If we continue to set the criminals free before the arresting officiers have their paper work filled out, we will see more citizens taking matter into thier own hands. Time to take the streets back and free up valuable court time and expense.
