DeNaples and his Catholic priest, Joseph Sica, are currently under indictment for allegedly lying about mob associations when DeNaples applied for his casino license. <BR/><BR/>Gov. Rendell, a Democrat, and state Attorney General Tom Corbett, a Republican, both received large political donations from DeNaples in the run-up to the awarding of the slots license. Rendell received two donations from DeNaples totaling $115,000 in August 2002. AG Corbett accepted a $25,000 contribution from DeNaples in 2004. <BR/><BR/>Both Rendell and Corbett to date have refused to return DeNaples' contributions. <BR/><BR/>In contrast, Gov. Rendell and AG Corbett. <BR/><BR/>Under scrutiny, for example, are lists of major political contributors. When a contributor gives five thousand dollars to, say, Gov. Rendell or other Democrats, the contributor's name is added to a list. If somebody needs help from state government, his name must be on the contributors list, or help won't be forthcoming, Pennsylvanians complain. <BR/><BR/>Investigators are also probing allegations that some $26 million in public money has been given to casino developers. <BR/><BR/>See no evil, speak no evil <BR/><BR/>Growing systemic corruption in Pennsylvania also involves the attempted silencing of writers and reporters, who increasingly find themselves threatened with subpoenas and legal action. DeNaples in June subpoened 15 reporters, demanding names of sources. <BR/><BR/>It's part of an obvious effort to stifle public review of growing corruption under Ed Rendell in the Keystone State. <BR/><BR/>The trick for compromised Republican prosecutors will be to keep public attention focused on the small-scale Democratic staff bonus scandal, and away from revelations involving the truly dark and shameful Rendell/Corbett/DeNaples travesty. <BR/><BR/>Meanwhile, also in the background, the not-so-radical League of Women Voters recently filed a federal lawsuit charging that Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices gave themselves a pay raise in return for a ruling allowing casino gambling. In essence, between the lines, the suit alleges that the high court judges lined their pockets by selling the commonwealth out to the mob. <BR/><BR/>It's not exactly a beautiful day in Pennsylvania. Concerned citizens, at last, are beginning to speak out. BHO's father was a Kenyan national whose family is prominent in Kenyan politics. And that politics is socialist, and increasingly Islamist (as we see with BHO's first cousin Raila Odinga, who is fomenting an Islamist insurgency in Kenya today). <BR/><BR/>Then, abandoned by BHO's father, Mom marries an Indonesian Muslim, and takes her son to live in Indonesia for the first ten years of his life -- the formative years. BHO was schooled in Indonesia, first at a Catholic school, where he was enrolled as a person of the Muslim faith; and then at a Madrassa. BHO has half-brothers in Kenya, and a half-sister in Indonesia, who insist that BHO was born and lived as a Muslim. Yet now BHO denies this, and removes Muslim women from his public stage.... <BR/><BR/>How does he explain this? The fact is, he doesn't; because nobody will ask for an explanation. <BR/><BR/>Then Mom sends BHO back stateside, to the elite Pounahou School in Hawaii. During this period of BHO's life, he was mentored, nurtured, and cultivated by Frank Marshall Davis, a Black separatist and known member of the Communist Party U.S.A. Eventually BHO landed in Chicago, and launched his political career with the support of nearly every radical-progressive group in Chicago. Long-time friends and associates, such as William Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Jeremiah Wright, Father Pfleger, et al. are radical progressives of one stripe or another; but all are united in the common idea of transforming America into their twisted version of "social justice" -- whether by peaceful means or violent means if necessary -- and let the Constitution be damned. <BR/><BR/>In short, it seems Barack Hussein Obama's vision of government is premised on the idea that America is a "community" in dire need of being "organized." <BR/><BR/>I notice that Obama's words change all the time; but his friends do not. And that tells me a lot. <BR/><BR/>I find the mendacity of the Obama campaign absolutely sickening. Obama claims that words have meaning. Nice of him to acknowledge that. But he definitely "honors" that understanding by violating it all day long. <BR/><BR/>I mean jeepers, one morning he states it is his policy that Jerusalem should forever remain an undivided city, under the administration of the Jews (Israel). Then by the afternoon of the very same day, speaking before a different audience, he says his policy regarding Jerusalem is that the division of Jerusalem is a "final status issue" that will be decided later on (in conjunction with the Palestinian Authority and Hamas -- folks who want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.) <BR/><BR/>One simply CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS. So, where is Obama, really, on this policy question? What does he really think about Jews, Jerusalem, and the survival of Israel itself?<BR/><BR/>I think it was Lenin who observed that the best kind of a lie of all is the really BIG LIE, because — ironically — the bigger the lie, the easier it is for the public to swallow. <BR/><BR/>IMHO, Obama is the biggest political liar I've seen come down the pike in my entire life!
